Mark Bishop - President and Chief Executive Officer
Mark Bishop is a Chief Operating Officer in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for the management and strategy of Brookfield’s timberlands portfolio. With over 25 years of forest industry experience, he also is the timberlands business development lead, focused on North and South America, and Australasia. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2008, Mr. Bishop was a paper and forest products research analyst and prior to that held various forest industry operating and financial positions.

Mr. Bishop holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia. He received his British Columbia Registered Professional Forester designation in 1990.

Matthew Gross - Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Matthew Gross is a Vice President in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and the Chief Financial Officer of Acadian. Matt is responsible for the financial reporting, risk management, corporate finance and overall funding activities of Acadian Timber and for finance and reporting for Brookfield’s infrastructure debt funds and the sustainable resources portfolio. Mr. Gross joined Brookfield in 2012, and since then has held several finance positions in Brookfield’s renewable and infrastructure groups. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Gross was a Senior Manager in the Assurance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Gross is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Science in Accountancy (Honors) from Bentley University.

Luc Ouellet - Senior Vice President, Operations
Luc is the Senior Vice President of Acadian Timber and responsible for the operations of Acadian Timber’s 1.1 million acres of private timberlands in New Brunswick and Maine and 1.3 million acres of crown licensed timberlands in New Brunswick. He is a Registered Professional Forester in both New Brunswick and Maine, a member of the Professional Engineer Association in New Brunswick and has been involved in managing timberlands for over 30 years. Luc holds a Bachelor in Forest Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

Kevin Topolniski - Chief Forester
Kevin is the Chief Forester of Brookfield Timberlands. Prior to his current role, Kevin served in a similar capacity at Fraser Papers for 10 years. His experience in the forest industry includes forest operations, forest management planning, computer information systems, environmental management systems and research and development. With Fraser Papers, Kevin was instrumental in the achievement of sustainable forestry certification on lands currently managed by Acadian Timber in New Brunswick. Kevin is a Registered Professional Forester with more than 30 years experience in the industry.
